Community Living Services
- Offers long-term care alternatives for people who are at risk of nursing home placement and Medicaid spend down.

Options Counseling
- Options counselors provide care coordination, management options, and assessments for those who are 60 years and older through Service Outreach for Seniors and Information and Assistance.
- Although the majority of counseling activites are for older adults, Bay Aging Options Counseling and Referral services are available for people of all ages.

Meals on Wheels
- USDA approved meals, delivered by volunteers, Monday through Friday to the homebound.
- Meals are delivered by church and community group volunteers on holidays.

- Meals on Wheels of America and the Banfield Charitable Trust joined forces to create WALOP, the "We All Love Our Pets" program. The goal of WALOP is to provide funds to purchase and deliver pet food to the Meals on Wheels recipients who have pets. Bay Aging received a $1,000 grant for the program to make Meals on Wheels for people and their pets a reality!
- Other donations for this program have been generously provided by the Animal Welfare League, Wal-Mart Corporation, and the Animal Care Society

Personal Care Assistant
- USDA approved meals, delivered by volunteers, Monday through Friday to the homebound.
For long-term care, at-risk, frail or homebound persons, we provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation and bedfast care.

Respite For Caregivers
- Offers options for stress relief and personal time for caregivers to attend to other family concerns.

Alzheimer's Disease Support Groups
- Support groups meet on a regular basis to provide information and to offer caregivers comfort and support.

Adult Day Break Centers
- Adult day care addresses the needs of persons age 18+ who are nursing home eligible or are at the greatest risk of institutionalization. Most clients have Alzheimer's disease or other form of dementia, while the younger adults have severe mental and physical disabilities.

MedCarry
- Coordinated non-emergency medical transportation for people who lack transportation due to not having a vehicle, not being able to drive, elderly, or handicapped.
Volunteers use their personal vehicles to transport people to their medical appointments to doctors, clinics, treatment centers and pharmacies. - Call 758.8852 for additional information or to request service.

- Your Ombudsman is there for you to help you with any issues you may have and to help guide you to the services and programs you need-whether it is short-term or long-term.

Virginia Insurance Counseling and Assistance Program (VICAP) and Medicare Part D
- The program educates, counsels and assists older consumers on medical benefit programs, Medicare, long-term care insurance and more.

Senior Employement Program
- The Senior Employment Program, often referred to as the Older Worker Program, provides part-time work experience, job skills, and job placement assistance for adults 55 and older who have been retired, are disabled or unemployed, and would like to get back into the workforce. This program also provides local employers with a pool of mature, reliable and loyal workers.

- Bay Aging is able to provide you with the information you need to contact any aging services organization in the United States.

Legal Aid
- The Legal Aid Program at Bay Aging provides older individuals 60 years of age and older (having economic or social needs) who live in the Northern Neck or Middle Peninsula, with counseling or other appropriate legal advice or assistance by a paralegal or law student under the direct supervision of an attorney. Legal Aid also provides outreach, education, group presentations and training designed to protect the legal rights of older adults living in this community.
